Gabriele Manca
Gabriele Manca studied piano with Bruno Canino and composition with Giacomo Manzoni at the Conservatory in Milano where he graduated with distinction.
In 1985 he was the prize winner of the "Neue Generation in Europe", competition organized by the WDR-Köln, the Biennale-Venezia and the Autome-Paris. In 2000 he won the Japan Fondation Uchida Fellowship.

In 2001 he carried out the soundtrack for "ROKUROBIOE", a movie by Japanese Chiseko Tanaka.
He gave many workshops and lectures at the Melbourne University, Irino Foundation, Senzoku University, Toho Gakuen University, Theatre Winter, Tokyo College of Music, Italian Institute of Culture in Tokyo, Pontificia universidad de Chile.
Gabriele Manca teaches composition at "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatory in Milan.
His scores are mainly published by RICORDI-BMG.
