Carlotta Conrado

Born in Torino in 1978, Carlotta Conrado studied violin in her city at the "G. Verdi" Conservatory with Massimo Marin, graduating magna cum laude and obtaining the "Premio Rovera" as the best graduated in violin. She continues studying at the Conservatory of Lucerna with Giuliano Carmignola and obtains the high diploma at the Conservatory of Lugano with Massimo Quarta; later she  attends the mastercourses of Altenberg Trio Wien, Salvatore Accardo, Piero Farulli, Anthony Flint, Francesco Manara.
She played as concertmaster with "Orchestra Giovanile di Santa Cecilia" conducted by Giuseppe Prinicipe and with the World Youth Orchestra on the “Mediterraneo 2006 Tour".
Currently she is attending the Accademia Mozart in Bologna.
She plays with Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai, Orchestra Sinfonica “Toscanini” di Parma, Orchestra del “Teatro alla Scala” di Milano; with the Orchestra Filarmonica del “Teatro alla Scala” di Milano, she has recently done a tour in United States under the conduction of Riccardo Chailly.
She won many prize as soloist and with chamber music groups: Maastricht (Olanda), Luigi Nono (Torino), Perosi (Biella), Premio Strega and Premio Zinetti (Verona).
Since 2001 De Sono Association supports her with a scolarship.
She recorded the CD "Verdi e Puccini" with the Cremona String Quartet excellently reviewed by the magazine “Amadeus”.
