Clara Franziska Schoetensack - violinist

Born in Assisi in 1987, she starts playing violin at the age of three. From 1998 she studies with Daniele Gay at Conservatorio di Musica 'Giuseppe Verdi' of Milano, obtaining the Master magna cun laude in 2007. She also frequented the masterclass of Salvatore Accardo and Shlomo Mintz at the same Conservatory. She attended the masterclasses at Accademia di Pinerolo with Trio Debussy and Altenberg Trio Wien and at Accademia Chigiana in Siena with Giuliano Carmignola, obtaining the master degree.
Currently she is concertmaster at Orchestra Giovanile "Luigi Cherubini" conducted by Riccardo Muti. She further collaborates with the Orchestra dell'Università degli Studi di Milano as head of the second violins.
