9th EDITION

The 9th edition of Sound of Wander explores contemporary chamber music and its most innovative and radical trends, always with curiosity and amazement. Among this year’s guests: Mark Andre, Simone Corti, Beat Furrer, Helmut Lachenmann, Simone Movio, Marco Stroppa, Alessandro Perini, Kristine Tjoegersen, Lorenzo Troiani and Alberto Posadas (with his composition masterclasses). The four concerts of the event will be preceded by as many dialogues with the participation of the authors and other guests; the event concludes with two special days dedicated to collaborative projects between performers and composers. The concerts and dialogues will be hosted this year, for the first time, by Teatro Elfo Puccini, in collaboration with Comune di Milano; the projects will be hosted by Teatro Arsenale. The subtitle “Music on three dimensions” is inspired by a famous composition by Bruno Maderna and refers to the three souls of Sound of Wander: performance teaching and disclosure .
