XI EDITION
Sound of Wander presents a program that blends outreach, education and performance, maintaining a dialogue with internationally renowned composers and guests.
At Teatro Elfo Puccini, the festival features a series of concerts and dialogues: the electroacoustic music, theatrical elements and multimedia sound worlds of Carola Bauckholt and Caspar Johannes Walter will be showcased, followed by a live soundtrack composed by Andrea Valle for L’atleta fantasma, the cinema’s first-ever superhero film. Additionally, the festival welcomes back a dear guest, Beat Furrer, who will appear both as composer and conductor.
At Teatro Arsenale the projects in three different days: two solo recitals, the continuation of exploration into the music of Hans Zender, a performance event combining music and dance and a two-part tribute to Stefano Scodanibbio, featuring some of his closest friends.
Hosted by the Goethe-Institut Mailand, this year’s international masterclass of composition will be led by Carola Bauckholt and Caspar Johannes Walter. The final concerts, held at the Auditorium of the Como Conservatory, will feature new works composed by the students.
