The “Professionalizzazione degli Artisti” call from the SIAE Per Chi Crea program funds artistic professionalization projects (masterclasses, artistic residencies, training courses, seminars) aimed at strengthening the knowledge and creative skills of young authors, artists, performers, and performers under the age of 35, residing in Italy or residing abroad but holding Italian citizenship. The project “Il Segno e il suono 2026-2027” proposed by mdi ensemble and Associazione Musicadesso features eight young composers and four young performers (soloists or chamber music groups) selected through this national call. The project’s objective is the creation (writing, study, and performance) of eight new chamber music works. The project involves four internationally renowned composers – Stefano Gervasoni, Marco Momi, Giorgio Netti and Marco Stroppa – and the musicians of mdi ensemble as tutors.
