This year the Italian composer Salvatore Sciarrino will be in charge of the annual international composition masterclass organized alongside Sound of Wander 2021, the concert series run in Milan by mdi ensemble.
The masterclass will include two individual lessons for each participant composer and a public lecture by Salvatore Sciarrino and will be opened to students, instrumentalists, composers and musicologists of every age and nationality.
The calendar of the masterclass will feature the participation of mdi ensemble who will run for each active participant a reading session, in order to allow the composers to work on details of their selected scores.
This year’s edition will end with the performance of Salvatore Sciarrino’s “Infinito Nero” featuring mdi ensemble and Livia Rado.
